I once met a young lady who gave me a ride home in one of these vettes when my "friends" left me at a bar. Her name was Joanne, and she was a lawyer's daughter. I was in my mid 20's and had lost my license to drive due to leadfootitus. I think she was a few years older than me, but not by much. I remember she knew how to drive that '63 split window. I think she wanted a partner for the night, but I was very naive to pick up on that. Or was it me that wanted to have a partner? Oh to be able to turn back the clock for a second chance. I only saw that one night. Never saw her again.
