I was the person who chopped this top,I had a good friend help me figure out where to cut,he was an old school street rodder, I had most of the work done on the top when my shoulders and back gave out and other things came along, hopefully some day I'll get to see this finished!
I saw it on one of the episodes of Ian Rousell's show at Gene Winfield's shop. It was in the background when they were looking at a chopped Packard on a trailer to be painted by Gene. I heard yesterday that Gene has passed on. I wonder if Gene had acquired the car or was hired by the owner to work on it.
