How nice is this!?
Monday... got an email that I had to share π
"everyone could use a nice message these days"
------------------------------------------------------
Happy Monday!
I hope you don't mind me contacting you...but I figured
everyone could use a nice message these days! What a year 2020 has been!
As a Mom I'm just reaching out to let you know your links page (www.vonskip.com/p/links.html)
was a big help to my daughter Payton.
With all the uncertainty still happening with COVID, Payton's school has moved
all their work to virtual classrooms online. It's been quite the transition for
sure, but I'm doing my best to help Payton with her homework to ensure she
doesn't fall behind!
Right now I'm helping Payton with a Decades Project for her history class.
Each week, her teacher has been going through the decades and teaching the kids about important historical events, fashion, music and culture during those years.
It's been a fun project for sure!
We're on the 1960s right now and learning about car culture and how it impacted
society! Your links page led us to some great websites to check out, so I
wanted to make sure we thanked you :)
That being said, I was also hoping you could add another link to your page?
Payton found this guide last night which I was impressed with! This is it.... www.titlemax.com/articles/classic-cars-101
It's quite the gem for any classic car lover. I thought it would be great
addition to your page that I mentioned above. Can you add a link to it on
there? I would appreciate it so much!
I'd love to show Payton - and her teacher! I think encouragement does wonders
in kids and I know she'd get a kick out of it. It's nice to feel connected to
people right now, even if we're practicing social distancing. :)
(And maybe she'll even get some extra credit from her teacher if I show him? It
would be a nice way to start off this nontraditional school year.)
Let me know if you get a chance to update!
The project is due on Wednesday if you get a free moment to include it at some
point by then! But if not, whenever you get a chance to add it is great!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Thanks again,
~ The Miller Family
