Truck Tuesday

Ha thought I didn't make it this time...? Wrong! Here's a slightly chopped '34 Henry's Ford pick up. Looks like the patina "paintjob" is no real nature's process as we prefer, but hey. They did a outstanding job trying to copy it don't you think!?

Explosion

Guess What!? There's been a "small" explosion caused by a preppep alarmclock hidden in a... Trash Can!
Yesterday evening, Monday 30 May 19.10hrs. Right in front of Cruizin Angels pre 2011 meeting lot at the IKEA, Son. Nearby Eindhoven Rod City. Luckely IKEA isn't a store we prefer to go to, so we were not in that area at that time. Have to depend on the (local) news I guess... Link HeadLines

1957 GMC Task Force Truck

Rolled this huge task force truck off a even bigger flatbed today... A bit crusty and has some few hours of welding ahead to be one solid piece again, but man what a cool truck! No real plans with it at this time though... first pulled out the bench for a good cabin clean up and maybe do some urgent patchwork coming weeks. Still in doubt to just use it as storage/deco or go and make it complete, running and go for Dutch registration...Well. We'll see...

1957 GMC 370 F-model truck,
GMC 302 Inline 6, automatic-transmission & a 3 piece hood!!!

1955 - 1959 GMC F-Model Task Force Trucks...

(in 1960) better known as the "Crackerbox" truck.
The F series have a BBC (bumper to back of cab) of 89".

Sedan Sunday

Here's something else... Steve Darnell’s ’28 Dodge Bros sedan. Powered by a 693 RWHP Six-cylinder Cummins turbodiesel! This 3,800-pound rat has run 11.69 at 118 mph in the quarter
As a project it went from a bunch of steel and a rusted shell to a running rod in just three and a half months, although Steve estimates a good 1,000 hours of labor were put in during that time. In addition to the diesel, Steve’s rod also dares to be different with an agricultural theme. Front axle was lifted from a coal mine truck and the John Deere green is seen throughout the vehicle. Whether it’s at Steve's "home track" in Billings, Montana, or cruising the Strip in Las Vegas, this one-of-a-kind rod always draws a crowd.
