Chopped Top Thursday
This chopped and customized 1950 Mercury was built by
Steve’s Auto Restorations, Portland, Oregon.
The roof was chopped several inches and converted to B pillarless hard top. Powered by a Flathead Ford V-8 engine, Offenhauser intake and heads.
Three Stromberg 97 carbs, Ford C4 automatic transmission.
Candy Apple Red Paint with White interior
Tuck and Roll interior.
1957 Oldsmobile steering wheel.
Cadillac “sombrero” hubcaps with wide whitewall tires.
The front... 1954 Chevrolet grille with extra dental work sits neatly within the front grille opening, along with the smoothed bodywork,
