Which Bolts Go Where? Chevy V8 Engine Bolt Sizes (SBC) By VonSkip


Here's a list I've made on what bolts to use on a SBC - Smallblock Chevrolet V8 Engine...

one errr... typo. The valve cover bolts are 1/4-20, not 1/2-20.

    Wich ones are you reffering to? could you explain more, image? would assume somewhere in the 3/8-16 range but would have to know what position to be sure ;-)

    Von Skip, thanks for putting this together. Nice to finally see a one-stop shop for bolt sizes. However, I did notice one errr... typo. The valve cover bolts are 1/4-20, not 1/2-20.

    **Maybe anonymous only wanted every single bolt size on the driver side. Not asking for much. Oh, and those years - somewhere in there is when everyone suddenly had to run out and buy a metric set of tools, ugh.
